Prayer walk to be held at state capitol

The annual Prayer on the Hill prayer walk will be held January 14 this year, according to Donna Lippoldt, Executive Director of Culture Shield Network, and State Director of the Kansas Legislative Prayer Caucus.

Praying for the Kansas Legislature is very important for our state, Lippoldt said. She is asking concerned citizens to join with her and other leaders at the capitol for prayer walks inside and out as they pray for the legislators and their families.

There will be a time of worship 8 a.m. at Harvest Family Fellowship 522 SW Polk. The prayer walks will begin at 10 a.m. at the capitol.

To sign up to pray for a particular legislator, email donna@cultureshield.com to sign up and select which legislator you are willing to pray for during this session.
