Sizzlers win final home game and prepare for playoffs in hunt for title

The Topeka Sizzlers defeated the Missouri Capitals during their game on Saturday night. That means the team remains undefeated heading into the playoffs.

The final score was Topeka Sizzlers 157- Missouri Capitals 117. Here are the game stats:

Brady Skeens – 33 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks

The Sizzlers are Topeka’s semi-pro basketball team, playing in the in the South Central division of the American Basketball Association.

Head coach Calvin Thompson, former KU basketball star, is hoping to bring an ABA title to Topeka during his first year in the league, as his high-scoring Sizzlers remain undefeated and in first place.

You can wear your Sizzlers gear to the games and get discounted admission. Additional t-shirts and hoodies will be available to purchase, as tickets will continue to be discounted for the wearers during the Sizzlers’ playoff run as well as during next season.

The Sizzlers will host the first round of the Playoffs on March 16th, at 7 p.m. at Topeka West High School.
