CancerCare is now offered at Timothy Lutheran Church, 425 NW RD Mize
Road, Blue Springs, weekly on Mondays, 6:30-7:30pm. CancerCare provides
support to cancer patients as well as family, friends or caregivers in need of a
listening ear or caring heart.
The 12 sessions run through Feb. 10, with a two-week break over Christmas
and New Year’s. Program topics include: living with strong feelings, faith, coping
with pain, stress reduction, relationships and finding hope.
There is no cost and participants can attend as they are able. Questions about
the CancerCare program can be directed to the Care Ministry office at 228-5300.
