The National Life Chain is the largest peaceful, prayerful pro-life public witness in the world. More than 1500 cities across the United States and Canada are expected to participate in this 33rd annual event on Sunday, October 4, 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Local pro-life people will be lining up along 21st & Wanamaker Streets for the Topeka Life Chain. This year there will also be a chain at 29th & California Streets for those on the east side.
Topekans can join with their fellow church & community members in standing up for life. Signs will be available at the sites; and, as always with Life Chain, social distancing is encouraged.
While standing in prayer for the unborn, water, lawn chairs, umbrellas & strollers may come in handy.
Choose your location
There are several locations to choose from on Wanamaker: on the east side about 20th St. in the parking lot of Pier 1; on the west side near Chili’s Restaurant; on 21st Street at Fidelity Bank near Ashworth on the north side; between Hardee’s and Target on the south side. At 29th & California, go to the SE corner by the train.
Questions about the event can be directed to Bibi at 785.969.2706 for the Wanamaker area, or Stella at 785.845.0252.
Kansans can witness for life at intersections across the state at 70+ locations in Kansas. Go to lifechain.net for a list of all state locations.
