New COVID-19 testing sites announced for Topeka and Shawnee County.

The Shawnee County Health Department and Kansas Department of Health and Environment in coordination with the states “Stop the Spread. It’s Up to Us, Kansas” campaign to expand testing statewide is sponsoring 3 separate sites to provide COVID-19 testing to the citizens of Topeka and Shawnee County.

This testing is free of charge and will be offered to anyone that arrives at the site. Persons that have no symptoms are also eligible for testing. Pre-registration is encouraged although those who wish to be tested can arrive and be tested without an appointment. Go to www.gogettested.com/Kansas  to register.

Sites will be open Monday – Saturday from 9:00am to 5:30pm each day. The following locations will be available to the public.

1. New Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at 2801 SE Indiana. Please enter off of SE 28^th St.   
2. Topeka Housing Authority located at 2010 SE California Ave. Please enter off of SE Swygart Ave.   
     
3. Hummer Sports Park located at 500 Tuffy Kellog Dr in the east parking lot. Tuffy Kellog Drive is located just west of SW MacVicar Ave. from SW 6^th Ave.
