Project Forward to present ‘Top City Talent Show’

Top City Talent Show,

Project Forward, a Topeka organization focused on community engagement and volunteerism, has announced their inaugural “Top City Talent Show,” a community celebration and volunteer benefit, this coming Sunday, December 27th, at 6:00 pm.

UPDATE: Project Forward has now changed their name to Top Teer.

The Top City Talent Show virtual event is free and open to the general public. This year’s Top City Talent Show is co-hosted by SevenEightFive magazine and the Topeka Performing Arts Center, and will be available via livestream on most devices with an internet connection, including Smart TVs.

Donations are encouraged, and all proceeds go directly towards supporting the volunteer effort in Topeka. Additionally, proceeds will be raised through a live art auction throughout the show, thanks to the generous donations of several local artists.

S.J. Hazim, one of the performers in the upcoming show, said the following: “We wanted to adjust with the times and still celebrate together while staying apart.”

Can You Help?

With events and churches cancelling services, the advertising that the Topeka Metro Voice relies on for support is drying up. For 14 years, Topeka Metro Voice has been a leader in the faith-based community. We have historically relied on advertising to fund the mission of our publication and sharing the Good News, as well as supporting local small businesses and community events. We are now seeking partners who want to support our publication and our mission of faith-based journalism and supporting the community and local small businesses.

Do you like what you read here? Help us continue our mission by supporting the Topeka Metro Voice in print and online for as little as $5. Every contribution counts, big or small. We sincerely thank you for your continued support and encouragement in these critical times.
