Face tattoo keeps getting woman arrested

Alyssa Zebrasky's tattoos make her flight from the law almost impossible.

As polls reveal that more people regret getting a tattoo, one Ohio woman can’t stop from being arrested because her face tattoo is so unique.

The massive face tattoo sported by Alyssa Zebrasky, 27, again landed her in jail for breaking the law. Police have her unforgettable tats to thank for the third apprehension in six months.

The Ohio woman’s face is covered in a Day of the Dead skull tattoo, complete with a spider web across her forehead and ‘stitches’ over her mouth.

The exact charge this time is not yet clear, but her past run-ins with the law include shoplifting and drug-offences. Her latest mugshot was taken on Tuesday after she was arrested in Montgomery County and detained on a charge from Mahoning County.

She was last arrested for theft and drug-related offenses after she was caught shoplifting from a supermarket in the US in December.

Tried to Leave Walmart With Stolen Bag

Unsurprisingly, police recognized her as she tried to leave a Walmart with a stolen bag. Less than a month before that she was involved in a police chase in Austintown and is now facing a list of charges. Zabrasky was found to have drugs on her along with other drug paraphernalia including a hypodermic needle.

She admitted the drugs were Methamphetamine and suboxone pills. She’s also alleged to have failed to appear in court for another matter and face charges of resisting arrest. Photos on Facebook, prior to her arrests, show her prior to the facial tattoos.

Tattoo Removal Increasing After “Regret”

According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), tattoo removal is on the rise and people are paying top dollar to clean up their skin. The number of tattoo removal procedures in the U.S. reached 45,224 in 2013 and has continued to skyrocket in the years since. Some estimates for 2018 reveal that as many 80,000 people removed their last year. Women seem to be having the hardest time with their ink, seeing as they accounted 72.7 percent of removal procedures in recent years.

Judging by the ASAPS’s latest figures, the average American’s aging into their late 30s and 40s caused them to rethink their decision to get ink done. Out of all ages, 35 to 50-year-olds accounted for the majority of tattoo removals. Even more surprising, Baby Boomers have started to seek laser removal in record numbers. For the first time in the ASAPS’s Cosmetic Surgery National Data Bank’s history, Americans over the age of 65 have seen more removals take place. Even those under 25 are making the decision to remove what had been a “must have” just months or years after they got them.

“As more people continue to get tattoos, the more people are having tattoos removed,” added Dr. Geronemus, who is also a clinical professor of dermatology at NYU Medical Center. “With recent advancements in skin care technology such as PicoSure, tattoo removal has become significantly easier. For example, in the past the colors blue and green have been problematic in removing from the skin. However, today these colors have become the easiest to remove.”

Some experts agree that the tattoo craze may slow down in coming years and that there could even be a net loss of people sporting the ink.
