The National Day of Prayer for 2022 is May 5th. The theme in Kansas this year is also our National Motto: “In God We Trust.” This year’s theme actually honors Kansas’ former President Dwight D. Eisenhower. In 1956 he signed into law the National Motto, “In God We Trust.” He also was responsible for putting it on our paper money.
This year’s Theme Verse is Psalm 33:12: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.”
