Not Alone: Finding Hope After Abortion

hope abortion

Found & Woven provides both in-person and online services for individuals suffering from the trauma of an abortion experience. We are dedicated to walking with our clients through their pain and grief, helping them find hope and healing in a safe and confidential environment.

Formerly known as If Not For Grace Ministries, undergoing a name change was inspired by the hope to better reflect our mission and reach more hurting and lonely hearts with the message that there is hope after abortion. We aim to introduce tools and perspectives that expose the lies that have been believed and help individuals trust that they are loved, seen, and cherished by God.

The name “Found & Woven” speaks to the concept that, despite feelings of isolation, there are many who understand and share their pain. It represents the hope that, with time and courage, individuals can be woven into a supportive community where they can begin their healing journey.

Our decision to rebrand is rooted in our commitment to providing a trauma-informed approach to care. Through over twenty years of ministry, we recognized that the emotional and spiritual wounds caused by abortion are profound and often complex. Many of those we serve carry heavy burdens of shame, guilt, and isolation.

To better meet these needs, as part of our rebranding, we will be introducing a new curriculum, Not Alone, designed to walk individuals through their healing journey with greater compassion and understanding. Not Alone focuses on addressing the deep layers of trauma that led to an abortion decision or resulted from that decision. By incorporating trauma-informed principles, we ensure that participants feel safe, understood, and free to express their emotions as they move toward restoration.

In addition to providing after-abortion care, Found & Woven seeks to equip families, churches, and communities to create safe spaces for those struggling with their abortion experience, by continuing to raise awareness on why a trauma-informed approach is key. We believe that through love, individuals can find freedom and redemption, understanding that they are never alone in their pain or in their healing.

This new chapter for Found & Woven enables us to broaden our outreach, providing a more comprehensive approach to after-abortion recovery. Our mission remains unchanged: to provide hope after abortion. Through our methods and curriculum, we aim to more effectively embody the hands and feet of Jesus to a world in need.
