Within days of each other, Israel has undertaken two operations that have killed the leaders of both Hamas and Hezbollah.

On Thursday, Israel revealed how it killed Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, mastermind of the Oct. 7 invasion and attack on Israel.

He was assassinated Wednesday morning in Tehran through the explosion of a sophisticated bomb placed in the room of his guest house nearly two months prior. It was set off remotely as he slept on Thursday.

The operation by Israel in the heart of Tehran is a fulfillment of the Jewish State’s promise to end the threat to its people from Hamas. It comes after one of Hezbollah’s top commanders was killed on Tuesday.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards confirmed the death of Haniyey hours after he attended a swearing-in ceremony for the country’s new president.

Western news media says the assassination “sets back” ceasefire negotiations but Israel says that it puts more pressure on Hamas to end the war, a view held by most military experts. China, Russia, Turkey, and Iraq, all supporters of Hamas, condemned the killing.

Observers, however, say this is the equivalent of killing both Hitler and Mussolini at the height of WWII.

Iranian social media on Thursday, showed treats being set out on sidewalks in celebration of Haniyey’s death.  Young Iranians have been cheering on Israel in its fight against the Iranian government.

Israel kills top Hezbollah commander connected to death of 12 children

In a Tuesday explosion, Israel killed Hezbollah’s most senior military and political commander and the head of its Strategic Missile Unit. Fuad Shukr “Shukr “directed Hezbollah’s attacks on the State of Israel since Oct. 8, and was the commander responsible for the murder of the 12 children in Majdal Shams in northern Israel on Saturday evening.

Stunnigly he was also the mastermind 1983 bombing of U.S. Marine Corps barracks that killed 241 service personnel. According to the IDF, over the years, he was responsible for the murders of “numerous Israelis and foreign nationals.”

He was also on the U.S. most wanted list for the 1983 but it is not known if the Biden Administration has thanked Israel for bringing Shukr to justice.

The operation, which was carried out by Israeli jets, took place in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

On Thursday, Israel confirmed the death of another Hamas leader from an earlier operation two months ago.
