As we embrace the spirit of giving and the true meaning of the Christmas season, there’s no better time to support organizations that protect and nurture vulnerable lives in our community. Pro-life ministries serve as beacons of hope, offering practical support, counseling, and resources to women and children in crisis across Kansas City. Metro Voice is providing a “wish list” of what will most benefit these organizations in the coming year.
Elizabeth Ehlen from A Gift of Hope emphasizes the sacred trust these organizations hold: “We don’t take donations lightly at A Gift of Hope. We recognize that any donation is more than its mere monetary value, although we greatly appreciate that too! You are placing your trust in us to do right by our vulnerable clients, and use your hardearned dollars wisely, responsibly, ethically, and most importantly, furthering the Kingdom of God. We will always be honored to work with you do that.”
These ministries extend their reach far beyond local communities. Renae Kitchin of Found & Woven notes, “Supporting Found & Woven is impactful when you donate supplies that directly benefit our clients. With participants joining from beyond our local area, gathering and shipping these items can strain our resources. Your physical donations enable us to better serve individuals across the country and worldwide.”
This Christmas season, consider supporting these vital organizations through financial gifts, essential supplies, or volunteer time. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create a network of care that transforms lives and builds stronger communities. Your generosity ensures these ministries can continue their mission of protecting and supporting life at every stage.
See the list below. If you know an organization that could benefit, call us at 816-524-4522 and we’ll add them to the list.
