Worlds of Fun is now open for the 2024 season, with sister park Oceans of Fun set to open on May 25. KC Summer Nights, an immersive summer festival paying tribute to Kansas City, and KidZfest are among the new attractions.

KidZfest (June 1-16). This family-friendly event will take place on Saturdays and Sundays and include dance parties, food treats, kid-friendly rides and interactive games and activities. Live entertainment includes the Marvelous Mutts dog stunt show and Mr. Stinky Feet.

Star-Spangled Night (July 4.) Experience a fireworks display synchronized to the stirring tunes of patriotic music. Perfect for all ages, this fireworks event celebrates the spirit of our nation with dazzling lights and sound.

KC Nights (July 13-28). KC Nights will be a summer party that keeps the excitement high as the sun goes down every Saturday and Sunday. Immerse yourself in a summer celebration filled with the adrenaline rush of twilight rides on exhilarating coasters. Savor the flavors of Kansas City food along with refreshing beverages, and let the live entertainment captivate you with live jazz bands and local musicians providing the soundtrack of summertime. KC Nights at Worlds of Fun is a celebration of summer fun and Kansas City culture.

Ride anniversaries, Worlds of Fun will celebrate ride anniversaries this year for both Timber Wolf and Prowler. Each celebration weekend will include limited-edition merchandise and special food items and more.

Halloween Haunt (select dates in September and October). This no longer will be a separate ticketed event, so guests can continue the frightful fun without leaving the park.

Tricks and Treats (Weekends in September and October). This new event will feature ghoulish activities, eerie live shows, seasonal treats and candy.
