Hope Faith Ministries seeks donations to help homeless

The coronavirus pandemic is especially tough on Kansas City’s homeless, and Hope Faith Ministries is stepping up to meet essential needs. The ministry seeks donations to assist its ongoing work.

“Hope Faith is Kansas City’s only collaborative day center with on-site partners that provide a wide array of services,” according to its website. “Hope Faith continually strives to work with area agencies and community partners to provide a wide array of services and programs to meet the changing needs of our guests and community.”

Hope Faith provides essential services from Monday through Saturday for the homeless and others. Hot meals, clothing, telephone and mail access, housing and employment referrals, case management, a computer lab, private showers, medical, vision and dental are some of the many services available

It has made several adjustments to keep workers and the community safe. Just as before, multi-touched surfaces are being sanitized hourly, and masks, soap and sanitizer are available to staff, volunteers, and guests. Anyone entering Hope Faith’s building or outside area will have their temperature taken and will be questioned about their recent health.
