TBN has announced its lineup of programs to help viewers celebrate the Christmas season. This month it includes Michael W. Smith, The Katinas and Gaither Vocal Band.
“Christmas has always been a sacred and special time here at TBN,” President Matt Crouch said. “Viewers from around the world join us to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. This Christmas, we extend a warm welcome to you and your family to join us throughout the month of December. We’ve produced a number of beautiful specials that we hope add love and joy to your heart and home this season.”
This year’s special programs include:
- “Christmas with Michael W. Smith and Friends,” 8 p.m. on December 13. Smith will be the host for an unforgettable holiday music special featuring Jordan Smith, Point of Grace, The Katinas and Marc Martel.
- “New Star Shining,” 7 p.m. on December 20. The Gospel Music Hall of Fame quintet, the Gaither Vocal Band, lends its heartfelt, award-winning harmonies to signature performances of original songs and nostalgic favorites, including “The Little Drummer Boy,” “Tennessee Christmas” and more, delivering eternal hope of this timeless story not only for the season but every day of the year.
- “Come Home for Christmas,” 7 p.m. on December 24. Award-winning Christian music veteran, singer, songwriter and author Matthew West will feature classic Christmas carols such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland” and “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” as well as West’s original Christmas songs “Come Home for Christmas” and “Because of Bethlehem.”

- “A Bocelli Family Christmas,” 7 p.m. on December 25. Join Matt and Laurie Crouch as they welcome the Bocelli family in Italy for a special edition of the musical event of the holiday season set in the stunning Italian Alps. Featuring behind-the-scenes interviews and beloved songs from their newest album, experience the joy of the season with the world’s most famous tenor, Andrea Bocelli, and his talented family.
- “A Hanukkah Festival of Lights,” 7 p.m. on December 26. This special about the history of Hanukkah was filmed at the sites where the legendary exploits of the Maccabees and the Hanukkah story happened. Special guests include Rabbi Jason Sobel, Danny “The Digger” Herman, Ze’ev Orenstein and Dumisani Washington.
