Divided into four sections, the exhibition explores the story behind the Berlin Wall and the world it represented – a global conflict between capitalism and communism that brought our planet to the brink of nuclear destruction.
The Berlin Wall. A World Divided. combines multiple perspectives and experiences through a unique collection of artifacts, media and diverse testimonies. The exhibition traces the origins and rise of the Cold War conflict.
Extending its narrative to the fall of the Wall in 1989, as a prelude to the end of the Cold War, the exhibition hints at the legacy of an era that continues, in essence, to shape the world and goes beyond the conventional narrative about the history of the Berlin Wall.
Included in your admission is an audio guide, which provides additional information with a carefully crafted narrative. Audio guide available in English, Spanish and French.
The Berlin Wall. A World Divided. is an exhibition by the Spanish company Musealia in collaboration with the Berlin Wall Foundation, the German institution that looks after the historical legacy and memory of the victims of the communist regime in East Germany.

An unprecedented collaboration, which for the first time gathers more than 40 lenders from 20 international institutions, highlights the different perspectives and experiences of people living on both sides of the wall through a collection of 200 original objects on public display for the first time in North America.

The 18th Annual Green Commute Challenge returns this October. This month-long competition amongst individuals and employers has been going strong since 2008. The purpose of the challenge is to introduce different ways of getting around town that help reduce traffic congestion and improve our regional air quality.
There is no cost to participate. Individuals, schools, employers and local governments are encouraged to join. Participants must be at least 18 years old and live and/or work in any of the following counties: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray Counties in Missouri and Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas.
Points are earned for taking green modes to/from work or school: biking, scooting, walking/rolling, car/vanpooling, riding the bus or taking the streetcar. Participants record trips using the free WAY TO GO app and compete for a chance to win weekly prizes donated by local businesses.

Featured speakers include Lauren Eden and Dr. Kathy Aultman. A Woman After God’s Own Heart conference, created by gospel music artist Lynda Randle, is a two-day, annual conference event for women of all ages, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, and upbringings. The vision for the Woman After God’s Own Heart conference (WAGOH for short), was birthed in Lynda’s heart and spirit in 2002 and the Lord allowed it to come to fruition in 2008, with its initial launch taking place in her hometown of Kansas City, Missouri. Through music, dance, motivational speakers, prayer, and humor, this conference has uplifted women around the country and internationally.
God is calling this conference to be a conference for the churched and unchurched alike; the visibly flawed and broken and those carrying invisible scars alike. A place where women from all walks of life feel welcomed, embraced, and loved by God and one another, and can enjoy Biblical teaching, fellowship, laughter, encouragement, and community.

Divided into four sections, the exhibition explores the story behind the Berlin Wall and the world it represented – a global conflict between capitalism and communism that brought our planet to the brink of nuclear destruction.
The Berlin Wall. A World Divided. combines multiple perspectives and experiences through a unique collection of artifacts, media and diverse testimonies. The exhibition traces the origins and rise of the Cold War conflict.
Extending its narrative to the fall of the Wall in 1989, as a prelude to the end of the Cold War, the exhibition hints at the legacy of an era that continues, in essence, to shape the world and goes beyond the conventional narrative about the history of the Berlin Wall.
Included in your admission is an audio guide, which provides additional information with a carefully crafted narrative. Audio guide available in English, Spanish and French.
The Berlin Wall. A World Divided. is an exhibition by the Spanish company Musealia in collaboration with the Berlin Wall Foundation, the German institution that looks after the historical legacy and memory of the victims of the communist regime in East Germany.
