Divided into four sections, the exhibition explores the story behind the Berlin Wall and the world it represented – a global conflict between capitalism and communism that brought our planet to the brink of nuclear destruction.
The Berlin Wall. A World Divided. combines multiple perspectives and experiences through a unique collection of artifacts, media and diverse testimonies. The exhibition traces the origins and rise of the Cold War conflict.
Extending its narrative to the fall of the Wall in 1989, as a prelude to the end of the Cold War, the exhibition hints at the legacy of an era that continues, in essence, to shape the world and goes beyond the conventional narrative about the history of the Berlin Wall.
Included in your admission is an audio guide, which provides additional information with a carefully crafted narrative. Audio guide available in English, Spanish and French.
The Berlin Wall. A World Divided. is an exhibition by the Spanish company Musealia in collaboration with the Berlin Wall Foundation, the German institution that looks after the historical legacy and memory of the victims of the communist regime in East Germany.
Opens May 29, 2026 The Berlin Wall. A World Divided. is the story of the greatest symbol of division in the 20th century. For nearly three decades, the Berlin Wall divided a city. Now, The Berlin Wall. A World Divided. brings its story to life.
An unprecedented collaboration, which for the first time gathers more than 40 lenders from 20 international institutions, highlights the different perspectives and experiences of people living on both sides of the wall through a collection of 200 original objects on public display for the first time in North America.

• Marilyn Griffin – Ministries of New Life Founder
From infancy, Marilyn’s mother taught her Scripture and the centrality of Israel. It prepared her heart for an early childhood encounter, in Jewish terms, an Acharit Hayamim (End of Days) experience. At age 17, the Spirit issued an undisclosed Call. Twenty-two years later He quickened that dormant Call. The Spirit’s zeal birthed intense personal and corporate prayer with fasting. After five years Ministries of New Life went public on May 2, 1984. The Spirit orchestrated each MNL milestone. On May 7, 1987, He assembled pastors for the first Citywide Prayer Movement gathering. Alongside the CPM He commissioned MNL to lead twenty citywide repentance services impacting the spiritual landscape of Kansas City and beyond. The work of MNL vibrantly continues, with a Global call to the nations and the world, keeping Israel central.
+Mark Fishman – from London England, Graduating from Manchester University, he pursued Jewish studies at various seminaries in Israel.
In 2022, after 12 years as Senior Rabbi at Congregation Beth Tikvah in Montreal, Canada, he and his family made Aliyah to Efrat, Israel. He and his wife Sarah have four children: Shira, Shmuel, Dvorah and Batsheva.
He brings a depth of Torah scholarship to Christian audiences, deeply rooted in the shared heritage of the Bible. As Manager of North American Engagement for Israel365, he works to build bridges between Jews and Christians. Rabbi Fishman desires to deepen understanding, strengthen friendships and inspire
lasting impact between Israel and its faith-based allies. Israel365 works closely with US Congress members and key portfolios within the Knesset.

Located at Beggars Table Gallery in the Crossroads district of downtown KC, “Who You Say I Am” is a visual exploration of identity, self-worth, and faith.
Artist Jenny Eickbush examines the lies she believed about her identity in her late teens and early 20s. Each painting confronts a lie; pairing words from old journal entries, with the words of scripture that expose their falseness. A boyfriend says, “You are a burden to love.” A teacher says, “You will never succeed.” But God says, “You are my masterpiece.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Joyfully colorful with lyrical figures, these beautiful mixed media paintings remind us of our true worth in Christ. No matter where you are in your journey, you have value. You are worthy of love. You ARE loved.

From the producers of Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. comes the next world-shaping chapter of global history and the enduring importance of freedom, human rights, and democracy.
May 29 through December 13, 2026

This is a wonderfully encouraging event for both veteran homeschoolers and those considering homeschooling as members of the next generation prepare for the next stage of their lives.
The ceremony is student led with a class feel yet also personalized as parents pronounce a special blessing over their graduate.
One of the highlights of the homeschool experience is watching homeschool students accept their high school diploma after so many years of work, patience, and growth in both character and education.
