World Breastfeeding Week - Ice Cream Social

In celebration of breastfeeding and its benefits to children and families, Clay County Public Health’s WIC program will host a free event on Wednesday, August 5 from 10am until noon. Breastfeeding mothers, their children, and support people are invited to join in the fun. There will be an ice cream bar, community partners sharing resources, and helpful items raffled off throughout the event. Also, Mid-Continent Public Library will host story time at 10:30 and 11:15, plus Reading Rocker will offer free books. This institution in an equal opportunity provider.
