KFL Releases Legislative Agenda for 2025

Today, Kansans for Life (KFL), the state’s leading and largest pro-life organization, released its 2025 legislative agenda.
“For the past two years, Kansans worked to enact compassionate policies that offer women and preborn children true help and actually save lives, even in our current legal landscape. For the sake of every woman who is being told abortion is her only choice, we must keep moving the ball forward,” said Danielle Underwood, KFL Director of Communications.
The recent release of long-delayed state statistics show abortion numbers have nearly tripled since 2019, confirming the disastrous impact of the Kansas Supreme Court’s Hodes decision that year and the need for continued life-affirming efforts.
KFL will work with engaged pro-life citizens from across the state to call upon elected officials to unite behind policies that prioritize the good of Kansas families, women, and preborn babies:
- Expand funding and access to Kansas’ Pregnancy Compassion Awareness program
- Enact life-affirming policies that lessen financial burdens on families
- Increase help for women and families facing medically challenging pregnancies or prenatal diagnoses
- Provide educational information to the public about fetal development and the legal definition of abortion
- Improve reporting of abortion complications and empower women to seek justice for abortion injuries
- Support legislation to improve election integrity
KFL will provide more details about the agenda at the upcoming Kansas March and Rally for Life in Topeka on Wednesday, January 29th.
