Nehemiah Alliance Sacred Assembly in Washington on Saturday will intercede for nation
The Nehemiah Alliance has scheduled a sacred assembly on the National Mall in Washington on Saturday, Oct. 31, as the nation continues to celebrate its 250th anniversary.
The event serves as a gathering of the organization’s 52-Day Rebuild, a nationwide initiative inspired by the biblical account of Nehemiah rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls. In this modern expression, participants are being called upon to rebuild their spiritual foundations through unified prayer, fasting, repentance and renewed commitment to Jesus Christ.
Featured speakers and worship leaders include Michael W. Smith, Nick Vujicic, Lou Engle, Dr. Alveda King, R. T. Kendall, Sam and Kevin Sorbo, Pastor Tony Suarez, Cindy Jacobs, Mercy Culture, Beckah Shae and many others. Organizers anticipate a global livestream audience of more than seven million people across all 50 states and 100 nations. Media partners including Daystar, GOD TV, CTN and Pray.com will help extend the gathering’s reach, connecting believers around the world in a united call to repentance, revival and renewal.
Nationwide, volunteer “gatekeepers,” ministry leaders and congregations are answering that call by praying for their families, communities, churches and nations. The initiative also includes the Million Souls Campaign, which is an effort to see one million people make first-time commitments, rededications or consecrations to Christ. Participating discipleship partner churches will help connect those making commitments with opportunities for continued spiritual growth and discipleship. Leaders believe that nothing is impossible with God!
As America marks its anniversary, organizers describe the sacred assembly as a significant moment to gather believers around a shared call to prayer, spiritual awakening and national repentance. Believers are invited to participate in Washington, gather with their local churches and communities, or join the event through the livestream.
The Nehemiah Alliance describes its mission as one of of prayer, fasting, repentance, and national spiritual renewal. For more information or to register, visit www.na52.org.
