Our next MPE Conference & Curriculum Fair will be March 31-April 1, 2023, at the KCI Expo Center.

Our conference vendor hall opens to registered conference attendees at 9 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 31. The vendor hall opens again at 9 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 1.

Registration Options:
Admission is free for current MPE members whose membership doesn’t expire until after May 1, 2023. At-the-door registration is $75 per family and will be available at the door. This includes access to more than 60 conference workshops and the vendor hall. Cash, card, and check will be accepted at the door.
Admission to the Vendor Hall only will be available online within the next few days and at the door for $35 per family for the two days. Cash, card, and check will be accepted at the door.

Featured speaker: Durenda Wilson

With more than twenty-seven years of home education experience, Durenda Wilson is a trusted voice and resource at homeschooling conventions and on The Durenda Wilson Podcast.

Durenda and her husband, Darryl, have eight kids (7 graduated) and nine grandchildren. As an author, speaker, and podcaster her greatest joy is reminding parents how doable and effective homeschooling is and that they are, in fact, qualified for the job! Her books include The Four Hour School Day, The Unhurried Homeschooler, and Unhurried Grace for a Mom’s Heart.

Featured speaker: Todd Wilson, “The Familyman”

Todd Wilson is a dad, grand dad, writer, conference speaker, and former pastor. Todd’s humor and down to earth realness have made him a favorite speaker at homeschool conventions, retreats, and churches across the country.

As founder of Familyman Ministries and the Smiling Homeschooler, his passion and mission are to remind dads and moms of what’s most important through weekly e-mails, podcasts (The Familyman Show & The Smiling Homeschooler), seminars, and books and products that encourage parents. Todd, and his wife Debbie, homeschool two of their eight children (six have graduated from their homeschool with four married) in northern Indiana and travel America in the Familyman Mobile. The Twelve Musical is a gospel, Broadway-style musical. This musical was written to bring a diverse and culturally-based perspective to the greatest non-fiction story known to mankind. Gospel music is a genre of music that is often overlooked because of its deep history, however, its longevity has created some of the most impactful and life-changing music that can tell the story of Jesus like none other. With entertaining musicals such as Hamilton, Dream Girls, Grease, The Wiz, Sister Act 1 and 2, Porgy and Bess, The Five Heartbeats, and more, combined with the miracles of exhilarating stories found in the Gospel of the Bible, The Twelve sets the stage for an educational, spirit-filled, entertaining, powerful experience.

With songs highlighting the birth of Jesus, miracles performed by Jesus, and the death and resurrection of Jesus, this will have you on the edge of your seat, experiencing a different perspective of the Gospels. Music was written to captivate the emotions of Jesus along with those who followed Him. Imagine being with the twelve disciples as Jesus fed 5000 people with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread, then think to yourself, that this one story had to be mind-blowing to those that surrounded Him. The Twelve is designed to show you the emotions of the disciples and how they assisted Jesus in feeding the 5000 people. I’m sure one would think that the atmosphere might have been chaotic, however, this musical will give a different perspective to show the amount of unity it took to perform this miracle. Cumulating all of the wonderful stories, such as the miracle of feeding the 5000 with a deep rooted, soul-wrenching, genre of music will be impactful for those who witness this musical.

The songs that are written for this musical will highlight the birth of Jesus, John the Baptist, the temptation of Jesus by satan, the recruitment of Jesus’ disciples, the miracle on the sea, and healings of the 10 lepers, the blind man, and the women with the issue of blood. There are also gospel songs that will celebrate the first miracle of turning water into wine, the communion, and the resurrection of Jesus. The musical is also coordinated to highlight interpretations of dancers and musicians to create an atmosphere of praise and worship. The well-coordinated dance along with theatrical props, and crowd participation will surely give you a different perspective of the gospels.

Music, Theatre, Singing, the Gospels, and Technology, all combined, is what has given birth to The Twelve musical. If you are a lover of any of these experiences, then your night of worship won’t go in vain. The Twelve Musical will combine all of these different genres into one night of praise and will thrust you into another level of our Lord and Savior. Bible inspired, along with years of research and writing, this musical will not disappoint.

Before the Grammys, before releasing the #1 Album in the country (Anomaly, 2014), Lecrae dropped arguable the most seminal project in his catalog, Church Clothes. XXL said, “It’s impressive how he’s able to deliver a message without being preachy”, calling Church Clothes “a prime example of the reach of hip-hop music and culture.” The people spoke even louder downloading the project 100,000 times in 48 hours. People rocked with the mixtape because it was the first time someone planted their feet simultaneously in the streets and the Church without compromising.

10 years and two more entries later (CC2, and CC3), it becomes crystal clear that while Lecrae didn’t start Christian Hip-Hop (CHH), it’s his lane. In the 10 years since Church Clothes originally dropped no one has been able to keep a consistent focus on sincere Christianity and authentic Hip-Hop representation while enjoying the heights and enduring the lows like Crae.

On Church Clothes 4, the mission remains the same for rapper, CEO, New York Times Best-Selling author, investor, and activist: To represent faith and Hip-Hop with an Unashamed edge that challenges the Church to live up to its potential and encourages the Culture to reconcile with its Savior. In this entry, Lecrae gives his listeners an opportunity to see what it looks like to reconstruct a vision of faith despite the large-scale shift toward mistrust and disillusionment with Christianity in the wake of America’s racial tensions.
