Event Details

The Vitae Foundation is hosting the Jerry & Kaye Meiners 26th Annual Pro-Life Golf Classic Monday, July 20, 2020, at the Shadow Glen Golf Club in Olathe, Kan. The golf tournament is named for the Meiners, who have chaired this tournament since its inception. The tournament Chairpersons are Ron Ward and David Meiners. It raises funds to promote a culture of life and to help inform women facing unplanned pregnancies about local resources available which can assist them in making a life-affirming decision.  Register today!

We are monitoring this ever-evolving situation of COVID-19. If we cannot move forward, we will let you know no later than July 1. Currently we are planning on having the tournament, and we pray that we can all gather and support Vitae’s mission in July. Watch for updates at VitaeFoundation.org/Events.

Lunch will be served at 10:30 a.m. followed by a noon shotgun start. At 11:15 a.m. there’s a SwingFit golf clinic hosted by The Golf Stable. The tournament is a 4-person scramble for men and women. Prizes include a new vehicle (provided by McCarthy Auto Group) for a hole-in-one; $1,000 Closest to the Hole (provided by Whitney Meiners, The Bradshaw Group, Reece Nichols Licensed Agent in MO & KS); $500 chipping contest (provided by Greg Muraski); drawings of one $1,000 prize and three $500 prizes.

Immediately following the tournament, a complimentary dinner provided by award-winning Jack Stack Barbecue will be served. Non-golfers are invited to attend the complimentary dinner.

Proceeds from this golf tournament will be used to help promote Vitae’s mission, which includes digital media efforts for Pregnancy Help Centers (PHCs) in the Greater Kansas City area.

Registration deadline and receipt of payment is due Wednesday, July 8, with a fee of $330 per golfer. The charitable portion of the registration fee is $130.
