Fear-Not is for anyone dealing with Anxiety and Depression. It is wonderful to have a group who cares, understands and supports those who are suffering.
We meet on Tuesdays at 7 p until 8:30.
If you are experiencing Anxiety or Depression…please come in and find many ways to work with and overcome them.

If you are not in the Kansas City area, you can also contact anxietycentre.com they have so much information it is wonderful. Both groups are Jesus Christ-Centered.

He also starred in the number one independent movie of 2014, God’s Not Dead. Sorbo’s strength and inspiration stem from his near-death experience in suffering three strokes and battling to regain his life. Today, Kevin enjoys leading a mentoring program and a non-profit that ensures access to safe and enriching afterschool programs for younger children.

All proceeds benefit Vitae Foundation, a national non-profit organization that facilitates research about life issues and applies the findings to create messaging strategies to share with others so that together, we can build a future where abortion is unthinkable.

Lunch-N-Learn: Mental Health & the Church
Monthly workshops on mental health in the Church to raise awareness and remove the stigma of mental heath and mental illness. The Lunch-N-Learns will alternate between learning via curriculum using videos and workbooks and individual speakers from NAMI (National Alliance On Mental Illness) who will share their story of living with mental health challenges.
Through this learning format we will learn what God, and Scripture says about mental health and better equip us to come alongside each other on our own mental health journeys.
Lunch-N-Learns are held on Saturdays and a light lunch is provided.

CFS will be hosting a “Light The Path Walk” on Saturday, September 30th at 7:30pm in Antioch Park. The fun walk will start at dark, and participants will use glow sticks and flashlights to light the path. All proceeds will benefit the adoption and foster care ministry at Christian Family Services. The cost is $25.00 for adults and $5 for ages 6-17. Children under 5 are free. You can also walk with a team of people to make the walk more fun.
