The Chosen Season 5 Releases Exclusive Easter Church Resources

In a savvy marketing push, pastors are being granted access to unreleased footage from “theatrical premiere plans” which is the fifth season of the popular series. Come and See, the organization behind the series, hopes to use pastors to drive up the numbers of theater-goers for the Easter episodes.

The newest season opens in theaters on Friday, March 28, and the hub enables leaders to engage their church communities with ministry tools such as sermon resources and discussion guides across all five seasons. As part of the collaboration, Come and See is working with Outreach Inc. to offer free church kits ahead of Easter, which include one- or three-day sermon maps, curated video clips from the newest season, church graphics, countdown videos and more. Additional resources are also available for purchase.

The collaboration among Come and See and Outreach highlights a shared commitment to equipping churches with engaging and transformative content. They are also partnering with the controversial Christian data-mining company Gloo.

“The Chosen is such an excellent portrayal of Jesus, and I really encourage our church members to watch it,” said Pastor James Pearl of St. Johns Lutheran Church in St. Johns, Mich. “When I saw the resources available, I said, ‘let’s go for it.’ We’re excited to see if it will generate interest from people outside of our current membership.”

The series continues to draw both Christian and non-Christian viewers alike, making it a powerful tool for churches during the Easter season. “Amazon streaming deal” confirms “The Chosen Season 5” will be available in theaters for a limited time starting on March 28, followed by streaming on Amazon. Meanwhile, churches can license seasons one through four from Come and See.

Come and See is a faith-based nonprofit ministry that exists to share the authentic Jesus with at least one billion people worldwide. Because of the generosity of supporters around the world, Come and See is able to ensure that all seven seasons of “The Chosen” are produced, translated into 600 languages, made globally accessible and free to all. “Biblical series success” shows how Outreach, founded in 1996 as a church plant initiative, has grown to serve over 163,000 churches nationwide.
