Parkville Women’s Clinic Opens New Phase, Expands Life-Affirming Services

Every hero’s story begins with a moment of courage. For Parkville Women’s Clinic (PWC), that moment happens every time a woman walks through the door unsure of her future — and leaves with hope.

This year, the clinic celebrates a milestone with the opening of Phase 1 of its new building, marking the next chapter in a mission focused on building strong families that positively impact their communities.

For more than two decades, PWC has been a safe and supportive first stop for women in unplanned pregnancies. Its impact is clear: eight out of ten women who find PWC first, when they discover they are pregnant, choose life for their babies. Each of those decisions is more than a number — it’s a heroic story of a mother’s courage and a child’s future.

A Heroic Story to Share

To highlight these everyday acts of bravery, PWC has launched a comic book series, available at Pwc4Life.us/superheroes. With colorful, vintage-style illustrations, the story connects classic superhero themes to real-life courage. Each page reinforces the truth that every parent who chooses hope — and every baby whose life is protected — is a hero. The clinic’s story is no longer just told in statistics — but drawn and shared in a way that inspires the community.

A Place Designed for Care

Phase 1 includes upgraded medical exam rooms, private counseling areas, and expanded educational spaces. These improvements give the clinic the capacity to serve more women and men as the need for services is rising.

Beyond pregnancy testing and ultrasounds, PWC offers parenting classes, fatherhood mentorship, and practical resources such as diapers and baby clothing. Staff and volunteers continue walking with families long after the first appointment, equipping them to thrive.

The new clinic allows us to serve more women and families in meaningful ways.”
