The Kansas City Chiefs will head to Mexico City this year it was announced, as the team released their 2018 schedule. Tickets went on sale on sale last Friday. Chiefs Season Ticket Members and those that pay Jackson County taxes were given a two hour head start. Last year, attendance at Chiefs games were up, in sharp contrast to most of the NFL which suffered horrible PR over anthem protests.
The 2018 season will also see the regulars like the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders hit town plus the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, and San Francisco 49ers.
The Chiefs will be heading south of the border, where they’ll play the Rams in Mexico City on Sunday, November 19.
They also have two Sunday night matchups – against the Patriots and Seahawks – as well as a Monday Night showdown when they head to the Mile High City to square off against the Broncos. Throw in a Thursday night game when they go to LA to take on the Chargers and Kansas City will be playing in prime time five times this season.
