The Midwest Christian Education and College Expo returns in March with over 60 colleges, private K-12 schools from both Missouri and Kansas, and homeschooling resources. This is the 21st Annual Midwest Christian Education Expo and will be held Sat., March 2, 2019. The event, which runs from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M., is held at Colonial Presbyterian Church, 9500 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64114. In addition, this year three open house events will be held across the metro just for parents looking at private schools in their local communities.

The free expo has become a huge draw for parents looking at educational options for their younger children as well as juniors and seniors scouting dozens of colleges, universities and missions opportunities from over 15 states. The expo is totally free and includes popular mini-seminars on topics such as Finding College Financial Aid; a Parent Panel Discussion on private K-12 as well as Homeschooling 101: Where Do I Begin? College representatives from states as far away as Virginia, Florida, Arizona, and Tennessee join dozens of midwestern universities from Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Oklahoma and other states with booths and information for prospective college students.
Area private schools serving families with K-12 children will be in attendance to answer any of your questions, show you their curriculum, sports and fine arts opportunities. Homeschooling organizations from Missouri and Kansas will lead popular seminars and answer questions about state laws and local resources for support. This year, a special Christian K-12 Open Houses is scheduled for the Northland. More details will be coming.
