Families ride free on Topeka Metro during Christmas break

The Topeka Metro bus system in Topeka has announced their sixth annual Winter Fling/Families Ride Free campaign. Families can ride all fixed routes free of charge from Saturday, December 22, 2018, through Saturday, January 5, 2019.

Topeka Metro partners with businesses throughout the city of Topeka to provide either free or discounted entertainment and food for families over Christmas break.

To qualify for the program, a family must consist of 1-2 adults, plus at least 1 child under the age of 18. All family members must be present in order to ride free and receive discounts. Passengers must ride the bus to receive offers. Bus operators will have cards with Winter Fling offers to hand out to eligible bus passengers each day that the promotion is in effect.
