Finding Hope and Healing Through Found & Woven

Found & Woven offers both in-person and online support for anyone carrying the pain of a past abortion. The ministry is dedicated to walking with people through grief and regret, helping them discover hope and healing in a safe and confidential space.
The name Found & Woven carries deep meaning. Found reflects the common feeling of being lost before, during, or after an abortion decision—and the desire to be truly seen and known. Woven is a word of invitation. It welcomes those who feel isolated or afraid of vulnerability into a supportive community where they can grow in their relationship with God and others. Above all, Found & Woven exists to remind each person that there is hope after abortion because there is a God who loves them and has a purpose for their life.
In early 2025, Found & Woven introduced its own healing curriculum called Not Alone. This resource is used in the ministry’s 10-week groups and 3-day retreats. Not Alone uses the picture of a wall built around the heart to describe the emotional and spiritual barriers created by abortion and past trauma—barriers like denial, guilt, anger, unforgiveness, shame, and fear. Each session offers biblical tools for breaking free: acknowledging the abortion decision, receiving God’s forgiveness, extending forgiveness to others, understanding God’s heart, and embracing a new identity in Christ.
Our whole-person approach reminds participants that God cares about every part of their story—the suffering as well as the sin. Many who work through the curriculum find healing not only from abortion but also from other wounds in their past.
Beyond groups and retreats, Found & Woven also works to equip families, churches, and communities to better support those struggling after an abortion. By raising awareness and encouraging compassion, the ministry hopes to create safe places where healing can begin.
Through its curriculum, groups, retreats, and partnerships, Found & Woven seeks to effectively embody the hands and feet of Jesus to a world in need. As the ministry expands both locally and globally, our prayer is that more people will experience the freedom and redemption that only Jesus can bring. Penny, a past participant, sums it up best: “I chose to do the work of healing from my abortion decision and received a peace and freedom I never knew existed.”
You are not alone. We would be honored to walk alongside you whenever you are ready.
