Great Overland Station to host Harvey House Luncheon

Coming up next month, the Great Overland Station will host another Harvey House Luncheon. These uniquely elegant luncheons are served by their very own costumed Harvey Girls, who enjoy sharing their knowledge of Fred Harvey and the historical Harvey Houses. Following lunch, a docent in authentic Santa Fe ticket agent uniform gives a guided tour of the Great Overland Station and museum.

Harvey House Luncheons are typically served to private groups of 25 people or more – however, four times per year the Station offers a rare opportunity for small groups, individuals and couples to experience a Harvey House Luncheon.

The Station, located at 701 N Kansas Ave, in North Topeka’s NOTO Arts District, will present the Harvey House Luncheon on March 5, from 11:30 to 2:00.

The cost is $23.50 per person (includes meal and tour). Reservations are required, and there is a limited number of seats available. The deadline to sign up is February 27, 2020.

Normal hours for Great Overland Station are Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the last admission at 3:15 pm. Visitors should allow about 45 minutes to tour the museum.

Admission is $6.00 for adults, $5.00 for seniors 62 and over, and $2 for ages 3 through 12. Ages 2 and under are free, as are Friends of The Station. Members of the military with ID get a $1 discount.
