Harrisonville Classical Christian Academy is an independent, nondenominational Christian School with a Classical Christian Education philosophy.
We offer a rigorous Classical Christian curriculum while partnering with parents to educate students in a historical biblical worldview. Students are asked to think about that which is true, lovely, pure, and honorable. We are a collaborative help to parents who have a God-given right and responsibility for raising and training their children. Striving to be an extension of the home, “training up a child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
Our mission is to develop children to be knowledgeable, understanding and wise as they seek to serve God through their leadership, service and character. Leading classically trained learners into a lifelong journey in Christ, serving God as leaders and servants in their communities, proclaiming the Good News.
Our academic focus is on the liberal arts as a foundation, through the lens of the Bible, in every subject. We teach children Latin so they can better understand our language as well as others. We follow the Classical pedagogy of the Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric stages which coincide with a child’s natural development.
