Kansas City Warming Centers Open as Dangerous Cold Continues

Although the blizzard is over, frigid temperatures remain in Kansas City, where record-breaking snowfall of 11 inches has left many seeking shelter. If a friend, family member or even a stranger needs a place to get warm, both Kansas City and Jackson County have activated their Cold Weather Plan, providing numerous warming options.
