Ministry opens first biblically based, English-language school for children in Romania

Assured Hope Ministries in September opened Adamant International, the first English-speaking Christian private school in Arad, Romania. This new school provides accelerated Christian curriculum instruction in English, reading, writing and mathematics, while integrating the most important foundation — Christian values and biblical teaching.
“The Lord has opened many doors for us to provide a lifechanging educational experience that integrates academic excellence with spiritual growth,” said Billy Miller, who co-founded Assured Hope Ministries with his wife, Oana. “By offering classes in English, we aim to equip students with valuable language skills, while also shaping character and instilling a sense of purpose through Christian values woven into the curriculum.”
Children attend daily classes, and changes already are evident in their lives and families. Many in Romania hope this school one day will expand across the nation, which continues to bear the cultural weight of its communist past.
God’s provision has gone far beyond the classroom. Before the school opened, the ministry distributed dozens of backpacks filled with school supplies to children in poverty-stricken communities.

“One mother of seven told us she was praying for school supplies,” Billy said. “She said her family was preparing to sell their only cow to afford backpacks. At just the right time, God provided those supplies through Assured Hope. The Lord is our provider, and he will meet every need through Jesus Christ.”
The Millers have been blessed to see the smiles on children’s faces. “Something as simple as a backpack gave them hope and reminded them that God sees their needs,” Oana said.
Assured Hope Ministries also operates the Refuge Youth Center; provides Vacation Bible School and summer camps; teaches Bible studies for underprivileged children; and continues its Ukraine mission to serve those suffering in the ongoing war.
“Our mission is simple,” Billy said.. “We want to bring the hope and light of the gospel into places of darkness. In a world where so many young people are lost, God has called us to be his hands and feet in Romania.”
