Missouri Grown Gift Boxes Feature Local Flavors for Holidays

As hard as it is to believe, Christmas is just around the corner. Although finding a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gift can be a challenge, the Missouri Grown program offers an edible alternative to shirts neckties while supporting local businesses. Customers can order gift boxes filled with food and home products from small agribusinesses throughout Missouri.
“The Missouri Grown holiday gift box is a fun and unique gift for friends and loved ones,” Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn aid. “We’re proud to feature seven exceptional Missouri products that showcase the quality and diversity of Missouri agriculture.”
The General Assembly created the Missouri Grown program, formerly known as AgriMissouri, in 1985. The membership program represents more than 500 local agriculture, food, beverage and value-added businesses to consumers and encourages all Missourians to visit their local farmers markets, wineries and agritourism destinations. The program’s mission is “Connecting producers to consumers and consumers to agriculture.”
