Bring your Princess to the Purity Ball this Saturday for a Special Evening
All dads, grandpas, and uncles of young ladies ages 11-up are to a very unique evening honoring fathers, father figures, and their daughters.
A Father/Daughter Purity Ball will be held this Saturday evening, March 22 at Abundant Life Baptist Church in Lees Summit, Missouri from 5-9pm. This gala is hosted by Pro-Life By Pure Life Drive in partnership with Grace Bible Church.
The evening was the brainchild of a group of Lee’s Summit-area families who decided to band together to help put a stop to the abortions going on every day in our country, and in the KC area by helping encourage a partnership between young ladies and their fathers to a covenant of remaining pure until marriage, with God’s help.
“Instead of waiting until young ladies are in a compromised position with facing abortion or pregnancy without a father, our goal is to help educate, encourage, and exhort young ladies to choose purity and exhorting their fathers to protect and cherish their daughters as they lovingly guide them on a Godly path,” said organizer Holly Schmitz.
Schmitz says the goal of the event is not to lecture girls with a long list of “not to do’s”, but instead show them where true purity comes from…and that is the heart.
Planned activities include candle lit catered dinner, special surprise, ballet choreography, dancing with dad, give aways and silent auction, photographer, live music, as well as an exciting dessert buffet.
