Attention Topeka area travelers! You can sign up in Topeka this month for TSA PreCheck and save time and trouble when traveling. The AAA Topeka store at 1223 SW Wanamaker (next to Starbucks) is bringing the TSA PreCheck® enrollment process to Topeka September 12-16, with the IdentoGO® Mobile Enrollment Vehicle.
Sign-up will be offered by appointment only. Appointments will be scheduled during the following times:
Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022 – 9am-5pm
Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022 – 9am-5pm
Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022 – 9am-5pm
Friday, Sept. 16, 2022 – 9am-Noon

- Access the application page
- Click “Start Application Now”, then click “New Enrollment ”
- Fill out Steps and choose “Next” at the bottom of each screen
- Type in your location at Zipcode/City/Airport Code box – search
- Choose the AAA location near you and click “Next”
- Select your desired appointment time
What is TSA PreCheck®
TSA PreCheck® is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and efficient screening experience. For TSA PreCheck® travelers, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. Today, TSA PreCheck® has more than 450 lanes at 200+ U.S. airports.
The TSA PreCheck® application program allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to directly apply for TSA PreCheck®. Once approved, travelers will receive a “Known Traveler Number” (which can be added to a traveler’s airline profile and reservations) and will have the opportunity to utilize TSA PreCheck® lanes at select security checkpoints when flying on over 50 carriers that currently participate in TSA PreCheck®.
When arriving for your appointment, be sure to bring your proof of U.S. Citizenship with you to you.
The application fee is $85 and can be paid by credit card, money order, company check, or certified/cashier’s check. Cash and personal checks are not accepted
