1 in 4 men & women need a safe place to process the pain of abortion

Did you know that 1 in 4 women will experience an abortion in their lifetime? Did you know that many regret their abortion decision; walking in a cloud of grief, shame and regret? The world tells a woman it is her body, her choice. That she has nothing to grieve. The “church” says you deserve to hurt because YOU made a decision that ended a life. If Not For Grace Ministries seeks to stand in the gap of these two mindsets. We seek to offer a safe, confidential environment where people can process the pain of their abortion decisions.

We do this in four ways:

  • 9 weekly abortion recovery group sessions
  • 7 weekly Male Recovery sessions
  • 3 day Reconciliation Weekends
  • Next Steps Program

Our peer facilitators, most with their own abortion story, walk alongside participants as they come to understand how abortion has changed them. We help participants work through their anger, seek forgiveness and find healing and restoration with themselves, their families and lost children, and most importantly with God. Participants will come away with an understanding of who God is, and who they are as they come into a restored relationship with Him.

There is hope after abortion and it is only found in the grace-filled arms of Jesus. God has called us to in Isaiah 61:1:

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners.
