Ministry Serves Israeli Victims of Hezbollah Attacks
Residents in northern Israel have endured repeated sirens, Hezbollah rocket barrages and drone infiltrations targeting towns and villages near the Lebanese border. Some attacks have involved more than 100 rockets launched in a single barrage, forcing Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Druze families to seek shelter with little warning and leaving homes and schools damaged.
Jentezen Franklin Media Ministries has conducted an emergency relief operation, delivering thousands of boxes of food and essential supplies to citizens in northern Israel along the Galilee border. These communities have faced sustained attacks from Hezbollah and other Iran-backed forces
“Imagine a 98-year-old Holocaust survivor once again being forced to run for shelter as missiles and drones threaten her community,” said Franklin, senior pastor of Free Chapel and founder of Jentezen Franklin Media Ministries. “Imagine children waking up again and again in the middle of the night to sirens and explosions outside their homes.
“These are frightened children, elderly parents, Holocaust survivors reliving trauma and families simply trying to survive another day under attack. Christians cannot ignore this level of violence that Iran continues to unleash. When sirens ring and missiles strike, we must step in to help.”
The humanitarian response has focused on delivering urgently needed food and basic supplies to some of the most vulnerable residents in the region, including children, elderly citizens, Holocaust survivors and families struggling to endure the ongoing violence.
“Our teams went into communities under fire across the Galilee to deliver emergency food and essential supplies,” he said. “We want these precious people to know they are not alone. Our mission is to bring relief, dignity and hope to those living under unimaginable pressure.”
Eli Cohen, the Israeli Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, thanked Jentezen Franklin Media Ministries for assistance during the war, highlighting the meaningful impact this support has had. Mayors from across the Galilee and the Golan Heights have played an important role in coordinating the distribution of the support boxes to communities under constant threat. Many of these mayors also expressed their heartfelt gratitude for standing with their residents.
Israel has been responding to the regular attacks from Lebanon by taking out terrorist cells and destroying infrastructure controlled by Hezbollah. The Trump adminsitration recently secured a ceasefire in which, for the first time in 40 years, Lebanese and Israeli officials are talking directly. Both sides want Hezbollah disarmed.
