Catholics and Protestants come together to host purity conference in Kansas City.
The 11th Men of Valor, Women of Virtue Conference, Living a Pure Life in an Impure World, brings in national speakers to reach Christians of all backgrounds who are seeking lives of integrity for themselves and their children.
The conference will take place Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Thomas More Church, 11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, Mo., from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and will feature six breakout sessions with twelve national experts on the topic of Christian purity. Online registration is $29 per individual and $49 per couple (ministers and clergy are free) at www.kcvalor.com.
A powerful lineup of essential topics for both men’s and women’s breakout sessions will include discussion on protecting kids in today’s world, pro-active parenting, and connective intimacy between spouses. “The goal of this conference is to support Christians as they seek to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. In a world that is so saturated with impure images and entertainment it is a challenging time to be faithful to the gospel message. We think part of the solution is for Christians to stand together to support one another” says Dino Durando, Director of the Family Life Office for the Diocese of Kansas City- St. Joseph and co-leader of the Valor and Virtue Conference.
