College of the Ozarks students defend Kavanaugh on Fox News

The morning show Fox & Friends visited The College of the Ozarks just outside Branson this morning.

Fox & Friends co-host Pete Hegseth visited the school, known for its value and work ethic of students, to get students’ takes on the Brett Kavanaugh hearings.

The school, located in Point Lookout, Missouri, is nicknamed “Hard Work U.” and provides on-campus jobs for students, which allow them to graduate debt-free.

Some students Hegseth spoke with said they believe the Supreme Court nominee hasn’t been treated fairly.

“I just think that this is gonna change the nation just with how our processes go,” one student said. “We have the right to a fair trial and to due process. We live in a country where you’re innocent until proven guilty.”

Recently, the school ended its contract with Nike for sponsorship of the school’s athletic programs. It was followed quickly by several other Christian colleges across the nation.

At College of the Ozarks, students learn “faith, freedom, love of country and how to work hard.” Students run the food service, lodging, dairy farm, hog farm and many other services on the campus, including harvesting crops. Also, all buildings on campus are debt free and built by students.
