The Dirty Dog moves to larger space

Added services will make it the premier dog care facility in the area

After five years of long days building her own business – The Dirty Dog – Mandi Biester is moving it to a bigger, better location, and is observing her success this month with a Grand Opening celebration on January 20.

“This is much more than just a move,” Biester said. “This is a state-of-the-art facility. We are tripling our space and adding more services, products and opportunities for our customers. This is something new and exciting, and there has been nothing like it in the Topeka area before!”

Biester is rightfully proud of the business she has built. Starting with just herself five years ago, the business how employs 17 staff members, and cares for over 300 pets every week. That number could at least double at the new location.

It hasn’t been easy for the mother of four. Despite a hectic schedule taking care of a family and a business at the same time, Biester wants her children to see how it is possible to overcome obstacles and even thrive as a small business owner.

In addition to daycare, grooming and boarding for dogs, the business now offers dog training, a monitored indoor dog park and boarding for cats, too. With the increased space, she will now be able to offer an increased line of pet products, accessories and supplies. They now offer luxury boarding suites for the pampered pet, as well as high-end accessories.

At the Grand Opening celebration, which will take place from 10 am to 5pm on January 20, the business will offer door prizes and giveaways, including free baths, grooming, pet food samples and much more. There will also be food, drinks, games and fun activities for the whole family, including the fur-babies. (proof of vaccination required)

Biester and the staff at The Dirty Dog invites all Topeka and neighboring community residents to come check out the new location, and to bring their favorite four-legged friends. They are excited to show off the new space, including indoor & outdoor dog parks.

“At The Dirty Dog, we are dedicated to making every day a fun and productive one for dogs,” Biester said. “We know pet owners want to feel that peace of mind that comes with knowing your pet will receive the best care possible when you’re not around. Our staff is fully committed to providing the ultimate in pet care.”
