Found & Woven releases new curriculum, “Not Alone”

Found & Woven, is excited to announce the upcoming release of Not Alone, a resource designed to bring hope and healing to those impacted by abortion. This project is the result of prayer, dedication, and the belief that no one should walk this journey of healing alone. Giving a glimpse into the heart behind Not Alone, three of the writers share their experiences and hopes for readers.

Renae Kitchin, Executive Director of Found & Woven, reflected on the challenges of creating something new. “It’s never easy taking on a huge task that points an entire ministry in a different direction. It has been hard and scary, yet God has shown up time and time again. The most powerful moment I experienced was God moving on a supporter’s heart to sponsor seven full chapters of the book. When your faith is shaky in doing something new, God is faithful to remind you He is good and He will provide!”

Renae’s experience serves as a beautiful reminder that even in uncertainty, God is present and working.

Kim Goodfellow shared how her work on Not Alone deepened her understanding of the struggles people face after abortion. “As a woman who has never experienced an abortion, this book gave me the opportunity to hear the pain and struggle of others. It gave me insight and compassion and understanding, and those represented in the book gave me a precious gift by trusting me with their stories”.

Kim’s reflection brings emphasis to the power of listening and empathy. Not Alone creates a safe space where voices can be heard, hearts can soften, and understanding can grow, even for those who have not walked this particular road.

Kim Jones shared her hopes for readers of Not Alone, “I hope all readers, whether they are Christian or not, experience Christians who do not judge them. I hope many layers of shame can be shed as they hear they are not alone and as they feel seen, heard, and understood. As they experience the mercy and love of Jesus in the midst of their struggles and engage with all the truths and tools, I hope they find significant healing and freedom from their abortion experience.”

Kim’s words express the true purpose of Not Alone: to share compassion, hope, and the transformative love of Jesus with those who need it most.

Not Alone is more than just a book, it’s a lifeline for those walking through the pain of abortion alone. Through the stories, tools, and truths within its pages, shame will be lifted, lives will be transformed, and healing will begin.

Stay tuned for the release of Not Alone.
