New ad highlights leftist ‘mob’ that threatens democracy

The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a powerful new web ad that highlights how the extreme rhetoric from the left has created “an unhinged mob.”

The minute-long ad, which is titled, “The Left: An Unhinged Mob,” features comments from former Attorney General Eric Holder, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Hillary Clinton, and Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ).

The ad starts with Holder saying, “When they go low, we kick them,” which is followed by a protester kicking a cameraman.

Then a clip of Waters, saying, “If you see anybody in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station. You get out and create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome.”

That audio plays over a video clip of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his wife being confronted by protestors while having dinner.

Next, viewers hear audio of Pelosi saying, “I just don’t know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country, and maybe there will be,” while video of protestors banging on the doors of the Supreme Court is shown on screen.

“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” Clinton says next, which is followed by Booker saying “Get up and please get in the face of some Congresspeople.”

The ad closes with footage of protestors storming the Supreme Court and “The Left: An Unhinged Mob,” appearing on screen.

“I think [the ad] highlights the dangerous rhetoric of Democrat leaders and then what it’s leading to Heidi Cruz and Ted Cruz being attacked at a restaurant, we saw what happened with Sarah Sanders, we saw what happened with Steve Scalise,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Fox News about the ad on Friday.
