Pence returns to stump for Republicans

Keeping up pressure on Democrats, Vice President Mike Pence returns to the area to help close the deal in the eyes of voters.

Pence will be joined by Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley, a Republican, who currently leads unpopular incumbent Claire McCaskill (D-MO). Also joining the VP is Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, the Republican candidate for Kansas governor. The appearance comes at the American Conservative Union’s CPAC 365: Kansas City which takes place at 1 p.m. on Nov. 2 at HyVee Arena in Kansas City, Missouri.

U.S. House candidates Rep. Vicky Hartzler of Missouri’s Fourth District and Rep. Sam Graves of Missouri’s Sixth District also will participate along with Rep. Kevin Yoder of the Kansas Third District and Steve Watkins of the Kansas Second District.

The 90-minute event will take place in the former Kemper Arena, which has been overhauled and remodeled under new management.
