Messiah Conference 2025 Unites Messianic Jews Against Antisemitism

Against a backdrop of rising antisemitism, the Messiah Conference, the world’s largest annual gathering of Messianic Jews and Israel-supporting Christians, will be held this month. The seven-day event will feature bestselling author Jonathan Cahn, journalist and influencer Hananya Naftali, and other speakers at Messiah University in Grantham, Pa. Notably, the rise of antisemitic incidents has drawn significant attention from both religious and secular communities.
“Antisemitism is surging across the world,” said Joel Chernoff, general secretary and CEO of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America. “As followers of Yeshua (Jesus), we in the Messianic Jewish community must stand up against persecution of Jewish people everywhere. This generation’s voice is critical at a time when so many college students in the United States are being brainwashed against Israel and the Jewish people.” News outlets such as The Wall Street Journal have recently reported on increased campus protests and their impact on students’ perceptions of Israel.
TOUR ISRAEL: Join us in November after the war
Messianic Judaism is a biblically centered movement of Jewish people who believe that Jesus is the messiah of Israel and savior of the world. They believe their Jewish forefathers, the law, and the biblical prophets prophesied about him. The movement continues to grow, finding resonance within broader religious communities, as discussed in in-depth articles from Christianity Today.
Humanitarian aid focus
Chernoff will highlight the work of Joseph Project International, a nonprofit organization delivering humanitarian aid to war-torn Israel as poverty there deepens. Recent surveys show that 2.7 million Israelis (almost 30 percent of the population) live below the poverty line. Nearly 1.2 million face hunger every day, with almost one million more on the edge of going hungry, according to Israeli nonprofit organization Latest. The Israeli government’s reports on poverty and humanitarian needs reveal the scale of the challenge and the urgent need for action.
“While media attention remains fixated on Gaza, the devastating hidden crisis in Israel grows more urgent by the day,” he said. “Many around the world see Israel as a prosperous, high-tech society, but the brutal financial toll of defending itself against constant terror attacks is fueling a humanitarian emergency, especially for children.”
For 25 years, Joseph Project International has been “a lifeline for Israel’s most vulnerable,” Chernoff said, “showing them the love of the God of Israel and the Messiah of Israel, Yeshua.”
The conference, sponsored by the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, the Young Messianic Jewish Alliance and the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues, will hold educational and worship sessions for Messianic leaders, young professionals, teens and children.
