The TBN media ministry is offering a number of Easter-themed programs from through April 4. All of the programing is broadcast on television but for those that don’t have access to the station on their cable or satellite dishes, you can also stream them free on TBN’s website.
“I am excited TBN is able to provide millions of Christians an opportunity to celebrate Easter again this year with new programming all weekend long,” Chairman Matt Crouch said. “We saw great success last year and are thankful to be able to provide more new content to our viewers.”

Programming began Thursday with the network partnering with the Museum of the Bible to present “The History of Easter” narrated by Matthew West. Filmed in Israel, Italy and at the Museum of the Bible, the program offers a vast perspective on the history of Easter, presenting the origin of many of its traditions that have grown through the ages, ending with a presentation of the original Easter week. Following “The History of Easter” is “Because He Lives: An Easter Celebration” in partnership with Gospel Music Association at 8 p.m. Hosted by Danny Gokey and Blanca, the one-hour program will include a short spoken-word segment from Rabbi Jason Sobel and feature musical guests such as Amy Grant, Anthony Brown & Group Therapy, CeCe Winans, Ellie Holcomb, Jekalyn Carr, Karen Peck & New River, Natalie Grant and Bernie Herms, Nicole C. and Zach Williams.
On Friday, TBN will present a one-hour special, “Good Friday Worldwide,” hosted by Chris Tomlin and Max Lucado at 7 p.m. The special will include a sermon from pastor and bestselling author, Max Lucado, worship led by Chris Tomlin, along with recording artists Pat Barrett, We The Kingdom and a chart-topping surprise guest.
Concluding the weekend of programming on Easter Sunday will be resurrection-themed messages from TBN teachers, as well as the “Global Easter Celebration” hosted by Chris Tomlin and Max Lucado at 7 p.m. This special will feature worship from Chris Tomlin, Pat Barrett and We The Kingdom. Additional Easter programming will air on the network throughout the weekend.
