Bill Federer’s Missouri Tour Explores America’s Faith and Freedom

To foresee the future, we must look at the past

Recent seismic political and cultural changes have left many people wondering where the world is headed next. One of the best ways to foresee the future is to look to the past.

“History is not prophetic, but it is predictive,” popular author and speaker Bill Federer told “Metro Voice.” If we know history, we can get an idea of where things are headed.”

Missourians will have an opportunity to hear Federer when he visits nine locations throughout the state in mid-October. He hopes to educate audiences about the high stakes involved in the current social climate.

“One of the books I have written is called `Socialism: The Real History from Plato to the Present,’” he said. “With the mayoral candidate in New York City openly espousing socialism and getting numerous Democrats to endorse him, there is a lot of confusion young people have regarding socialism. It’s basically a bait-and-switch for dictatorship and contrary to America’s ideals.”

Counter bad information with good information

The best way to counter this type of bad information is by instead providing good information. “Part of the strategy of socialism is to dumb down the population so they don’t know their history,” Federer said. “I want to educate and remind people of the role of faith in our country’s founding.”

pastThe speaking tour is sponsored by Liberty Link Missouri, a political action committee that protects life, family and liberty through prayer, advocacy education and public policy.

“His encyclopedic expertise in world history and the founding of America, combined with his knowledge of the Bible as it pertains to government and current events, ensures we will learn how we got to be where we are as a nation and what we can do to save America,” according to the organization.

Federer is president of Amerisearch, a publishing company dedicated to researching the nation’s heritage. His first book, “America’s God and Country – Encyclopedia of Quotations,” sold more than a half-million copies. He has written more than 30 books and is host of the “American Minute” radio feature and “Faith in History” television program.

“Monarchs have subjects and republics have citizens,” he said. “I hope people will leave these meetings saying, `I’m responsible for what is happening in America. I’m going to trust the Lord to show me what I can do to add my part.’ My talks will be for anybody who wants to find out more about how unique America is in world history. We want to leave our children with the freedoms that we inherited.”:

In his Missouri tour, Federer will address several timely topics, including:

  • How cold-war psychological warfare turned into deep-state disinformation and gaslighting campaigns to sway public opinion, and how artificial intelligence has made it more powerful.
  • How product marketing has morphed into political marketing.
  • How children are subjected to classroom behavior modification and social-emotional learning.
  • The biblical key to resisting weaponization through weaponized peer pressure.

Federer encourages Christians to be inspired by such seemingly unlikely biblical heroes as Moses, David and Gideon.

“The thing that inspires us is that when things look really bad, God raises up nobodies who are small in their own eyes but big in faith and courage,” he said. “When things look hopeless is when the Lord raises up leaders with faith and courage. This is our turn.”
