SNA Experience Tour is “life-altering”

Big event hits Kansas City October 7

God is on the move in North America and every follower of Jesus—regardless of age, talent or personality—can play a vital part in what He is doing to push back lostness on the continent.

That’s the life-altering message behind the free Send North America Experience (SNA EXP) tour coming to Kansas City on Oct. 7 from 7-9 p.m. at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (5001 North Oak Trafficway). Kansas City is one of 20 cities on the tour.

“The SNA Experience Tour is a series of events in cities across North America challenging everyone—baristas, electricians, lawyers, teachers and church leaders alike—to leverage their lives in a way that counts for the kingdom,” said Aaron Coe, vice president of marketing and mobilization for the North American Mission Board. “The tour carries the God-sized vision for reaching North America by awakening and empowering individuals to know that their lives on mission matter and can make a difference in their communities.”

During the SNA EXP lead speaker David Platt will encourage attendees to find their place in pushing back spiritual lostness in North America. Platt, one of the youngest megachurch pastors in the United States, is the New York Times best-selling author of Radical and Follow Me.

Christian illusionist Harris III will take attendees through a multi-media story that shares how God has been and continues to be at work in North America. Harris III has used his “magic-with-a-message” to engage audiences as varied as North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Ga., the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention, Elvis Presley Enterprises and the Catalyst Conference.

The Brett Younker Band will lead worship for the event. Brett leads and lives under the leadership of some of the most influential leaders in the church today, including Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman. Come to the Water is Brett’s third full-length album. The hope for this album is that people would rise up into who Jesus has made them to be and walk daily in the freedom Jesus promises.
