Biden stops effort to prevent sabotage of nation’s power grid
President Joe Biden has suspended a Trump administration policy that protected the United State’s power grid from foreign adversaries, including Communist China. Biden took the unprecedented action through an executive order.
The Trump Administration policy was called “Securing the United States Bulk-Power System”, and was implemented in May 2020 to protect the U.S. power grid from foreign access. Over the last two years, U.S. intelligence had warned that adversaries, including North Korea, Iran, China and Russia posed a significant threat to the national power grid.

The Trump order prohibited: “any acquisition, importation, transfer, or installation of any bulkpower system electric equipment,” by persons or parties who may pose “an undue risk of sabotage to or subversion of the design, integrity, manufacturing, production, distribution, installation, operation,
or maintenance of the bulk-power system in the United States.”
Biden stops Census data collection on immigrants
The Biden administration apparently doesn’t want to know how many residents of the nation are here illegally. The U.S. Census Bureau has been ordered to stop efforts to develop statistics on citizenship. Biden signed an executive order stopping certain work on the 2020 census. The Census Bureau announced Friday that it is being forced discontinue efforts to create citizenship tabulations using 2020 census data combined with administrative records that would give an accurate count of those who have entered the country illegally or overstayed their Visas.
Montana moves to ban biological males in girls sports
Montana is moving to protect women’s sports from the inherent advantage of transgender males competing as women. A Montana House Judiciary Committee passed a bill that would create the “Save Women’s Sports Act.” The new law would bar biological boys from teams or in sports designated for women or girls. House Bill 112 now moves to a floor hearing in the Montana House.

GOP Rep. John Fuller told the Montana Free Press that he wanted to protect the 1972 Title IX. Permitting biological boys to compete against biological girls would be “just wrong,” he said, adding, “I believe that this will result in the destruction of women’s sports, and I believe it’s a violation of the spirit of Title IX.”
Americans not optimistic about “unity” message
A new ABC News poll finds even Democrats are dubious that Joe Biden can unite the nation. Only one in five Americans expressed “a great deal of confidence” in his promise to unify the country. Democrats make up 35 percent of the electorate.
Just 22 percent said Biden will unify the country, 24 percent remained highly skeptical, saying that they have no confidence “at all” that he will be able to do so, the poll found.
The survey asked the opinion of people who had watched a video of Biden’s inaugural address urging Americans to see “each other not as adversaries, but as neighbors.”
Fauci makes how much?
In an amazing revelation, it has been disclosed that Dr. Anthony Fauci is the highest paid federal employee. The head of the pandemic effort now makes more than every other employee in the entire federal government. The latest figure for his salary is $417,608.
Fauci is now paid more than the leader of the free world – the American President – who is only paid $400,000 per year. All salary data was collected by OpenTheBooks.com via Freedom of Information Act requests.
Former President Donald Trump was the first president in history to donate his entire salary back to the U.S. government.
Mars lander to touch down next month
According to Space.com America’s new Mars lander will set down on the red planet in February.
The Perseverance rover, the core of NASA’s $2.7 billion Mars 2020 mission, will land Feb. 18, kicking off a new era of human interaction with the Red planet. The rover is about the size of a small car.
“On that fateful day, a rocket-powered sky crane will lower Perseverance to the floor of the 28-mile-wide (45 kilometers) Jezero Crater, which hosted a lake and a river delta billions of years ago. Over the course of its mission, Perseverance will scour Jezero for signs of ancient Mars life and collect and cache dozens of samples,” the website stated.
The Mars samples will be returned to Earth as early as 2031 by a joint NASA-European Space Agency campaign. It will be the first time that samples from the surface of Mars have been returned to Earth.
The development and launch of Perseverance was one of the signature achievements of NASA under the Trump administration.
