Friday golf tournament hosts men supporting the pro-life cause

Missouri Right to Life – Western Region will host over 100 men for its 19th annual pro-life golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 16. The event raises money for the organization’s Pro-Life Educational Fund.

For the past 19 years, the tournament has provided pro-life men (and a few women along the way) with an opportunity to have a great time for an important cause. The tournament has grown over the years as men come together in solidarity with women to defend the sanctity of life.

The tournament will take place at Eagle’s Landing Golf Course in Belton. Cost is $150 per golfer and includes breakfast, lunch, registration gift, hole prizes, putting contest, door prizes, silent auction with sports memorabilia, drink tickets, and more. Registration is at 7:00 with a shotgun start at 8:00. Those who do not golf can donate money to help sponsor the event, ranging anywhere from a $200 tee-box sponsor to a $10,000 diamond sponsor. Visit their website to register or for more information.

The Western Region partners with Missouri Right to Life in Jefferson City to assist with activation and legislation. It also partners with and promotes many other pro-life organizations in the area to assist in the promotion of life. The Western Region itself exists to educate, empower, and raise awareness in the community on pro-life issues. Donations go toward outreach events such as booths at festivals, which include the distribution of pro-life literature, merchandise, and materials; advertising campaigns such as billboards and newsletters, including Spanish-language materials; monthly newsletters; online information; educational opportunities in schools and churches, and Western Region events aimed at educating and expanding our base.

Consider joining us this Friday and at future events as we partner together to stand for those who are unable to stand for themselves and to be a voice for the voiceless.
