Luis Palau presents Easter message as he battles Cancer

Evangelist Luis Palau is set to go big this Easter with a special digital experience sharing a powerful and heartfelt message of hope, love, and joy in the midst of his cancer and these trying times. According to the Palau Association this evangelistic message, in both English and Spanish, is being made available free of charge at EasterHope.org as a resource for churches, media outlets, and individuals to help them share the Good News this Easter.

The massive online effort is a direct response to the needs of churches nationwide struggling to keep up with the constant demand for solid digital content amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and the millions of people needing hope and peace during this time of uncertainty.

Along with offering the message free to churches to use on Easter Sunday, Palau’s message will air worldwide through television, radio, churches, and on social media through the Palau Association’s 19 million followers on their “Hope with God” online community.

According to the Palau Association the message comes at a special time amidst the world’s hunger for hope stirred by the coronavirus turmoil. It also marks more than two years of Palau’s ongoing battle with Stage IV lung cancer. Palau has incredibly beat the odds since doctors gave him only months to live at his diagnosis in December 2017.

“It’s all quite a surprise if you ask me,” Palau said. “When I was diagnosed, I was given only a few months to live. But praise God, He had other plans, and it’s been a joy to stick around a little longer to see how the Lord continues to bless this team and open exciting doors for the Gospel like this Easter opportunity.”
